We spent Easter morning at home. I'm not sure how Easter became
another Christmas, but somehow we ended up with two sets of baskets full
of goodies, only one week after their birthday extravaganza. I'm very
thankful there are no more gift-giving occasions for many months - our
house can't handle any more stuff!! It's impossible to purge anything because they always find my donate/sell piles before I can get them out of the house.
Anyway, the kids loved discovering the little toys and clothes in their baskets. Thank goodness for the Target dollar bin section!
After baskets, we dyed some eggs. It was a short activity, since we had
only hard-boiled a dozen eggs, but it was fun. As a bonus, we discovered the
kids really like eating hard-boiled eggs.
As for an egg hunt, I had hidden a bunch of plastic eggs around the
house the night before. Since Zoey woke up first, she started
discovering them before Abby and Lucas did, and she had found most of
them before they woke up. Oops. No pictures of that. We keep finding eggs around the house though. I have the feeling we'll be discovering them in weird places for months.
A blog about my pregnancy with triplets, and our adventures with the babies once they arrive.

Easter 2013, part 1
The kids now sit on stools at the big kitchen island. Their very own kids' table!
After lunch, the kids rode their balance bikes up and down the sidewalks. We were impressed with how far they went, although we still ended up carrying bikes home by the end.
A little sidewalk chalk. It's windy in Crozet!
A little music time with Uncle Peter's new banjo.

Easter 2012
Easter baskets - coloring books, sidewalk chalk, Easter books, Little People figures, and a Leapfrog Alphabet magnet set.

Discovering their Easter baskets

Yes, Abby is wearing the Dragon costume.

Which meant that Zoey wanted to wear the fairy costume.

Lucas was the only sensible one - he chose this sweater vest.

Reading the new Easter books

Zoey & Abby liked hunting for eggs, although they kept getting distracted by other things.

Abby helped Lucas find eggs.

We decided to dye eggs. It was hard to keep their hands out of the water, but overall it went pretty well.

Green!

Picking out stickers while waiting for the eggs to soak

After nap we went over to Meme and Hat-Dad's house for Easter lunch.
The kids loved going up and down the stairs

Some piano time

A little Face Time with Grandma Di & Uncle Dane before bed

Happy Easter, everyone!

Happy Easter!
I had a lot of fun picking cute outfits for the babies to wear today. Thanks to all the generous gifts and hand-me-downs we've received, we have a fair amount to choose from. Perhaps I'm biased, but I think they all look pretty spectacular in their Easter outfits.

I couldn't start feeding Zoey until I had another picture of her cuteness!
And here's a picture of Grandma Peg, Grandma Diane, and GranMary, each holding a baby. Sorry it's blurry. Still getting used to the new camera...
It was neat to have my mom and Jason's mom and her partner all in the same house for a few hours today. It's a good thing we had enough babies to go around!!
