The kids are growing and changing so quickly! They say new words all the time and love imitating words that we say (we need to start watching our language!). They are still using sign language as well - in fact we are attending a weekly sign language class just for fun. They are definitely learning how to be toddlers, with lots of "no", meltdowns over seemingly minor things, and climbing on the dining room table no matter what we try to do about it. On the flip side, they love learning to do new things for themselves (they are currently trying to learn to put on pants), love cuddling, and play well together most of the time.
Here is a glimpse of some of their latest activities:
Having fun with bubbles in sign language class (it's the Baby Signs program, and it's great!)
Putting on pants. They love saying "pants" and "dressed". They also love emptying their dresser drawers in order to pick out the perfect outfit.
At a small holiday parade the day after Thanksgiving. They lasted maybe 5-10 minutes in their strollers and then insisted on getting out and running everywhere. Thankfully they settled down once the parade started.
Helping us switch our closets from spring/summer to fall/winter. A long overdue organizational challenge, made more challenging with triplets.
Wearing their "packs". Someone got us 3 backpack "leashes" as baby presents, and we just got them out. They love wearing their "packs" around the house. We haven't been bold enough to actually use them as baby restraint devices when out in public, but we've been tempted. If we don't have them in the strollers they take off running in 3 directions (see parade description above).
We are loving all of their emerging pretend play. Tonight, Lucas found a dish towel in the play kitchen and started saying and signing "baby." We found the baby dolls and they all covered their babies with towels and cuddled with them. It was so adorable! (well, except when they stole the dolls from each other and screamed)

Clothing/shoe sizes - Lucas 18-24mo clothes, size 5-6 shoes; Abby & Zoey - 18 mo clothes, size 4 shoes
Sleep - usually 7pm-6am, with a 2-3 hour nap during the day. Zoey seems to need less sleep than the other two.
Teeth - molars are awful. Zoey has two bottom molars and is getting two top ones. We can't tell what's happening with the others but we know that they're cranky and we're going through infant ibuprofen by the gallon.
Interests - legos, blocks, animals, babies, play kitchen, music/dancing, Elmo
Can't believe they'll be 21 months on Christmas!
