Zoey loves the IKEA farm set. When we asked her to get the horse, she went and got it right away - she clearly knew what we meant. Oh - and she's taking even more steps on her own now. I keep trying to capture it on video but as soon as she hears the camera turn on she sits down.
Lucas has learned the word Quack ("kack" in his version). He knows that ducks quack, and when he's in the tub he says "kack kack kack" while sorting out all the ducks and putting them in the toy bin.
In addition to trying to get dressed, Abby is practicing her sign language. This evening at dinner she made the sign for milk, and when I got the milk out for her she drank it. So I took that as a sign that she was purposely using the sign to request her milk. Much better than screeching to get what she wants!
